Learn about our docks

How does a drive-on dock work?

Cruising onto a drive-on dock is remarkably straightforward. Just guide your boat or jet ski onto the dock's surface. If you have a larger boat, a winch might assist with the final positioning. Once your vessel is comfortably on the dock, secure the bow, and you're ready to go. No need to fuss with mooring lines or fenders anymore. This streamlined process transforms taking your boat out for a ride into an effortless and enjoyable experience.

How can a drive on dock save me money?

A drive-on dock can be a smart financial choice for boaters in several ways. Firstly, it eliminates the need for expensive antifouling treatments and reduces anode consumption, saving you money on maintenance costs. Additionally, by eliminating the need for fenders and mooring lines, you avoid the ongoing expense of replacing or repairing these items. Furthermore, the extended life of your boat trailer, protected from saltwater corrosion, means fewer expenses related to trailer maintenance and replacement. Lastly, the modular design of our drive-on docks allows for easy modifications if you decide to change your boat, eliminating the need for an entirely new dock system. In short, investing in a drive-on dock not only enhances your boating experience but also helps you keep more money in your pocket in the long run.

How do I leave my boat on the dock?

Leaving your boat on the dock is a straightforward process. Once your boat is securely positioned on the dock, you have a couple of options. You can either leave the winch attached to the boat's D-ring for added stability, or for a quick and simple solution, tie the painter to a cleat up front. This ensures your boat stays in place until your next adventure. Additionally, it's a good practice to pull out any bungs at this point to allow rainwater to drain directly out of the back, reducing the risk of water accumulation in the boat or draining your batteries through bilge pumps. Just remember to replace the bung before launching your boat again. With these easy steps, you can confidently leave your boat on the dock, knowing it's secure and ready for your next outing.

Will my boat fit?

The beauty of our dock lies in its modular design, which ensures that it can accommodate boats of various sizes. Whether you have a small fishing boat or a larger vessel, our docks can be easily extended or adapted to fit your specific needs. Even years down the line, as your boating preferences evolve, our modular system can grow with you. So, rest assured, your boat will not only fit comfortably but also have room to grow on our versatile and adaptable dock.

We can supply air tanks for extra buoyancy if required.

We can supply air tanks for extra buoyancy if required.

Our docks can be supplied with a winch-on-winch-off system if required. This can be added down the line if you decide you need one.

Can I use a drive-on dock, on a drying-out berth, or on a swing mooring? .

Yes, you can. In fact, using a drive-on dock in these scenarios offers several advantages. It keeps your boat's hull and engine away from direct contact with the sea or river bed, preserving their condition in the long term. It also lets you cast off without being left stuck in the mud. If you have a swing mooring, it's possible to use the drive-on dock by either having a second fixed position to keep the dock in place while driving on or by winching the boat onto the dock. While it may require some additional setup, the versatility of our drive-on docks ensures that they can be adapted to various berthing situations to provide the best protection and convenience for your boat.
